Marco "Marc" Gonzalez, LMT, MMP (AS), GTS, CES. Often, we seek Massage Therapy to relieve the effects to emotional stress, muscular discomfort or physical fatigue. I came to seek out what Massage Therapy has to offer after returning from war, "Operation Enduring Freedom" in Afghanistan. I was blown up numerous times and sustained numerous injuries in combat. Upon returning home I was retired from active military service. (USMC 1999-2007 & USA 2009-2015). Though my tour of service was over my body pains, aches, and strains still affected my daily life. I sought out for relied through traditional means. Even with all the prescriptions I was prescribed I still felt horrible. Although now I also had to manage with the side effects of the prescriptions. I sought after an alternative means, a means that would help to alleviate my high amount of prescriptions. I can to understand the effects of how one muscular dysfunction can affect the entire body as well as how fascia can affect greater strain on the body than and a muscular strain, as well as contribute to muscular strain.
I felt, I wanted to be able to offer this same care I received for my pains, I am a graduate o Wellspring School of Allied Health for Massage Therapy (LMT) and Master massage Practitioner (MMP), ultimately earning an Associates of Occupational Science (AS). While concurrently taking Courses in Graston Technique to become a Graston Technique specialist massages using Hot Stone, Cupping (Fire Cupping and Basic Plastic Cupping), Cryo-Therapy, Swedish, Reflexology Base. Sports (pre-game and post-game) Prenatal and Neuromuscular. Ranging from Pediatric to Geriatric massage. Often my clients leave saying “I have never experienced a massage like this”. I can tell by their facial expressions and their sense of ease, well=being as well as their statements of “I’m hooked” or “I’ll defiantly be back to see you” that they will be back for more.
You can be assured that your massage is “one of a kind massage for you”. Though many aspects of the massage may be common in other massage modalities, the entirety of the massage is designed for you.
